Recently, Yunnan Province was selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the State Drug Administration to lead the “Artificial Intelligence Medical Device Innovation Task”, the “Intracranial Aneurysm Surgery Planning Software” independently developed by Kunming Tongxin Medical Association Technology Co., Ltd., successfully passed the approval of the State Drug Administration and obtained a Class III medical device registration certificate, filling the gap in the field of artificial intelligence medical devices in Yunnan Province. In recent years, the Provincial Drug Administration, in conjunction with the Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, has focused on cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence medical devices and novel biomaterial medical devices, and has supported R&D institutions and medical device companies to participate in the selection of national-level “Unveiling the List” innovation projects.
