Standard Life plc Posts Bigger H1 Attributable Loss; Insurance Revenue Up

02:15 AM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Standard Life plc (SDLF.L) said Monday that its attributable loss for the first half widened, while insurance revenue rose year over year. Loss attributable to owners of the parent for the six months ended June 30 was 189 million pounds sterling, compared with a loss of 168 million pounds earlier. Loss per share moved to 0.203 pound from a loss per share of 0.182 pound. The insurer's insurance revenue was 2.82 billion pounds, compared with 2.7 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board declared an interim dividend of 0.2805 pound per share, payable Oct. 29 to shareholders on record as of Sept. 25. It paid 0.2735 pound per share a year ago. Looking ahead, the company said that it is on track to achieve its 2026 financial targets, which include an adjusted operating profit of 1.1 billion pounds.
