ACG Metals to Acquire License for Keşkek Gold Project in Turkey

03:51 AM EDT, 09/07/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ACG Metals (ACG.L) will acquire a mining license that contains the Keşkek gold project in Türkiye from Meta Nikel Kobalt Madencilik Sanayi ve Ticaret for up to $7.9 million. The copper-focused production company said Monday it will pay an initial cash consideration of $4 million for mining license 60926 and a potential deferred payment of $3.9 million at the start of production in mid-2027. The Keşkek project provides a new source of oxide ore within 70 kilometers of the company's Gediktepe mine and is expected to extend the utilization of the heap leach facility by several years, the company noted. Total project acquisition, phased exploration, and closure expenditure is estimated at $15 million over 10 years.
