Affected by the continuous heavy rainfall of typhoon “Shader”, a landslide geological disaster occurred on September 5 in Shixia Group, Mingkeng Village, Gaoping Town, Suichuan County, Jiangxi Province. As of 18:00 on September 7, the post-disaster “four-way” work in Suichuan County had made phased progress. On the road side, there have been 230 landslides on the national and provincial highways throughout the county. Currently, only 1 of the Yingpan polder section of the S546 line is still undergoing emergency repairs; there are a total of 1,601 damaged sites below the county road, including 424 on the county road, and only 1 section from Golden Village to Yangxi Village on the X051 Hexuo Line has not been cleared. The rural water circuit network has been restored one after another. 297 administrative villages in the county have access roads, accounting for 96.12%; the remaining 12 are being cleared; 287 networks have been connected, accounting for 92.88%; the remaining 22 have been connected; 280 have been connected to electricity, accounting for 90.61%, and the remaining 29; 254 have been supplied with water, accounting for 82.2%, and the remaining 55. Emergency and disaster relief work is still underway throughout the county.
