Nvidia, Oracle, KLA And An Industrial Stock: CNBC’s ‘Final Trades’

On CNBC’s “Halftime Report Final Trades,” Stephen Weiss, chief investment officer and managing partner of Short Hills Capital Partners, picked FTAI Aviation Ltd. (NASDAQ:FTAI).

Supporting his choice, Morgan Stanley analyst Kristine Liwag, on Aug. 21, maintained FTAI Aviation with an Overweight rating and raised the price target from $319 to $360.

Rob Sechan, CEO of NewEdge Wealth, named KLA Corporation (NASDAQ:KLAC) as his final trade.

On the earnings front, KLA reported quarterly earnings of $1.05 per share on July 28, beating the analyst consensus estimate of $1 by 5%, according to Benzinga Pro data. Quarterly revenue came in at $3.66 billion, which beat the Street estimate of $3.6 billion.

Kevin Simpson, founder and CEO of Capital Wealth Planning, said he likes NVIDIA Corporation’s (NASDAQ:NVDA) acquisition of Hugging Face.

Nvidia, on Sept. 3, said it agreed to acquire Hugging Face for $12.93 billion, bringing one of the world’s largest open artificial intelligence developer platforms under the AI chip giant’s roof. The deal would combine the company’s computing infrastructure and engineering resources with a platform used by more than 18 million developers, researchers and creators.

Jim Lebenthal, partner and chief market strategist at Cerity Partners, said Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL) has got good momentum.

On Sept. 4, Morgan Stanley analyst Keith Weiss maintained Oracle with an Equal-Weight rating and raised the price target from $207 to $210, while RBC Capital analyst Rishi Jaluria reiterated the stock with a Sector Perform and maintained a $190 price target.
