Air Traffic Control Operator NATS Says Resolving Technical Issue Affecting UK Flights

In a post on social media platform X, NATS said at 3:31 pm UK time that the issue impacted its flight processing system, causing disruptions to departing flights. NATS added that its engineers are now working to resolve the situation. Heathrow Airport and the London Gatwick Airport were among major UK airports impacted by the issues, according to their separate posts on X. Heathrow said flight arrivals are not affected at the moment. The technical issue was first announced by NATS at 2:16 pm.
