Today, the “Pilot”, the world's largest diameter high-speed rail shield, successfully crossed the Yangtze River waters. After 41 days of in-depth maintenance, it successfully completed a second start at the Chongtai Yangtze River Tunnel Shaft No. 2, starting the land section excavation mission in a new state, and advancing at full speed towards the world record of digging 13.2 kilometers alone for a 15-meter-class super-diameter shield.
