The reporter learned from the Xinhu Group that the Xinhu Group has recently officially submitted complaint materials to the Supreme People's Court regarding the “10 billion mineral rights case,” which has received widespread attention from the capital market. The relevant person in charge of the Xinhu Group revealed that the complaint was mainly a request for the Supreme People's Court to upgrade the case and correct the previous ruling of the Hubei District Court, that is, to rescind the ruling on the recovery of illegal proceeds, and not to recover 50% of the shares and fruits of Xinjiang Yihua Mining Co., Ltd. obtained in good faith by the complainant, Xinhu Group. According to reports, Xinhu Group has previously filed complaints with the local Han River Intermediate Court of Hubei Province and the Hubei High Court regarding the “10 billion mineral rights case.” The aforementioned courts rejected Xinhu Group's complaints on May 19, 2025 and November 26, 2025, respectively. The equity case between Xinhu Group and Hubei Yihua Group involving Xinjiang Yihua Mining Co., Ltd. remains unresolved due to assets exceeding 10 billion yuan. In June 2010, Xinhu Group invested 220 million yuan to acquire 100% of the shares held by seven natural person shareholders of Beijing Huayi Longxin Trading Co., Ltd., thereby indirectly holding 50% of the shares in Xinjiang Yikuang. In June 2024, after more than ten years of normal operation of the company, the Hubei Hanjiang Intermediate People's Court issued a ruling, upholding the Hubei Tianmen Court's August 2023 ruling, holding that Beijing Huayi Longxin Company was guilty of corporate bribery. Based on this, the local court in Hubei decided to recover all of Huayi Longxin's shares and profits in Xinjiang Yikang and return them to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the Yichang Municipal People's Government. On August 24, 2024, this portion of the shares was forcibly transferred. However, Xinhu Group has never acknowledged this, believing that it is a bona fide third party, and that reasonable market transactions should not be reprimanded.
