Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney met with visiting Ukrainian President Zelensky on the 10th in Calgary, Alberta. The two sides decided to cooperate to expand military drone production and announced a series of new agreements. According to a press release issued by the Canadian Prime Minister's Office, Canada will establish a national digital platform for military drones, using the Ukrainian “Brave 1” drone platform as a model to speed up research and development, procurement, and deployment of drones and anti-drone systems to ensure the supply of equipment to the Canadian military and coast guard. Canada has signed the first batch of procurement contracts worth 50 million Canadian dollars. Furthermore, the two sides signed the Declaration on the Centennial Partnership between the Republic of Korea and Ukraine and a joint declaration on strengthening cooperation in national defense and security. Canada announced a number of aid and cooperation plans with Ukraine, including purchasing Ukrainian anti-aircraft interceptor bombs, maintaining and rebuilding Ukraine's energy infrastructure, and helping Ukraine develop key mineral production.
