Abionyx Pharma Partners With ABL Diagnostics Division for Viral Safety Testing of CER-001

01:45 AM EDT, 09/11/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ABIONYX Pharma (ABNX.PA) said Thursday it entered into a strategic partnership with ABL Diagnostics' (ABLD.PA) Texcell division to conduct viral safety and clearance testing for its CER-001 biopharmaceutical development. Under the agreement, Texcell will conduct the studies as part of the preparation of validation batches for CER-001, particularly for its development for the treatment of lecithin-cholesterol acyltransferase, or LCAT, deficiency, according to the company. The clearance studies are designed to demonstrate that Abionyx's process includes steps capable of effectively removing or inactivating potential viral contaminants.
