On September 11, at the 2026 China Computing Conference “Space Computing Innovation and Development” special forum, the China Academy of Information and Communication Technology and the Beijing Institute of Space Computing formally established the “Space Computing Key Technology and Scenario Verification Laboratory” at the forum. This is the first laboratory in the industry to focus on key technology and multi-scenario integrated verification of space computing power. The laboratory mainly focuses on four aspects of construction, including carrying out joint research on cutting-edge common key technologies such as radiation-resistant space-borne AI chips, high-speed interstellar communication, and distributed resource collaborative scheduling; building a “one center, two modules, four stations, one base” ground verification test site to carry out pilot tests and engineering tests and verification of space computing power; promoting the implementation of multi-domain typical scenarios; developing relevant standards and specifications, outputting test tool sets and public technology achievements, and coordinating the construction of standard evaluation systems.
