According to the news, on Thursday local time, Oracle's first fiscal quarter (Q1) results and guidelines were better than market expectations, and demand for AI infrastructure continued to drive rapid growth in the cloud business. The company's overall revenue for the first fiscal quarter increased 30% to US$19.3 billion, and analysts expected US$19.13 billion; adjusted earnings per share of US$1.92 were also better than analysts' expectations of US$1.75. Oracle's cloud infrastructure revenue for the first fiscal quarter jumped 121% year over year to US$7.4 billion, higher than analysts' average expectations of US$7.19 billion.

Remaining Performance Obligations (RPOs) continue to grow substantially. By the end of August, the RPO reached $664 billion, higher than the 638 billion US dollars at the end of the previous quarter, and higher than analysts' expectations of about 6399 billion US dollars. The company raised its full-year profit forecast. The adjusted earnings per share for the 2027 fiscal year are expected to be $8.10, higher than the previous forecast of $8.05; cloud business revenue is expected to grow by about 64% to 70% for the whole year, reaching at least $90 billion in annual revenue.
