On June 1 of this year, the “Regulations on the Supervision and Administration of Internet Catering Service Operators Implementing Principal Responsibilities for Food Safety” were officially implemented, advocating the implementation of “Internet+ Bright Kitchen”. The new regulations have been in place for more than three months. How are they actually being implemented? The reporter selected the three cities of Beijing, Tianjin, and Jinan and randomly surveyed 60 stores with the “Bright Kitchen Bright Stove” logo on multiple takeout platforms one by one. Statistics show that of the 60 sample stores, the “Bright Kitchen Light” function was completely disabled and could not display the live broadcast of the back kitchen; of the remaining 43, only 20 met the requirements, and 23 other stores did not meet the standards. There were problems such as the screen avoiding the core work area of the back kitchen. The images of 17 stores couldn't be loaded. Dozens of them showed “This merchant's live streaming content is being reviewed” for a long time, and there were no real-time screen updates from the back kitchen throughout the process. In addition, the reporter visited a dine-in takeout shop in Jinan on the spot: debris piled up outside the store, employees handled grilled chicken shirtless, placed delivery boxes in the sterilizer, uncovered and stored ingredients close to the open, and thick grease on the inside of the microwave oven. Law enforcement officers from the Market Supervision Department of the Jinan High-tech Zone Management Committee issued a “Notice of Order of Correction” in response to this fast food restaurant's violation of the “Food Safety Operation Code for Catering Services”, and ordered the parties concerned to make corrections by September 15, 2026.
