The Shanghai Proof of Concept Platform Alliance was formally established during the 2026 Pujiang Innovation Forum results conference held on September 12 during a special discussion session on science and industry integration ecology. We learned from the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission that the first batch of members of the alliance consists of 33 proof-of-concept platforms and future industry funds, covering future industries such as brain-computer interfaces, silicon light, cell and gene therapy, as well as key industrial directions such as integrated circuits, intelligent manufacturing, and green technology. The alliance will push the platform from “fighting for each other” to “clenching the finger”, focusing on tasks such as sorting out capabilities, sharing resources, setting standards, and cultivating talents, establishing mutual project recommendation and joint verification mechanisms, and accelerating the expansion of the platform matrix.
