On September 12, Serbian President Vučić inspected the construction site of the “Karadjordje Leaders Corridor” expressway project constructed by a Chinese company. Serbian Minister of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure Sovronievic, Chargé d'affaires Zhang Zhe of the Serbian Embassy, and related companies and media participated. President Vučić said that after completion, the “Karadjordje Leadership Corridor” will connect Belgrade and central Serbia to further improve the Serbian transportation network, which is of great significance in promoting local economic and social development. We sincerely thank the Chinese leaders and Chinese friends for their strong support and great contributions to the construction and development of Serbia, and look forward to continuing to deepen practical cooperation with China in various fields. The total planned length of the “Kara Giorgi Leadership Corridor” project is about 146 kilometers, and the two priority sections are 83 kilometers long.
