The Zhitong Finance App learned that on September 11, the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission banned the former licensed representative of Sun Hung Kai Investment Services Limited (Sun Hung Kai) and Sun Hung Kai Futures Limited (Sun Hung Kai) (collectively, Sun Hung Kai), from re-investing in the industry for 42 months from September 11, 2026 to March 10, 2030. Sun Hung Kai Investment and Sun Hung Kai Futures are now known as Everbright Securities Investment Services (Hong Kong) Limited and Guangzheng Futures (Hong Kong) Limited respectively. The investigation found that between 2009 and 2021, Mo carried out transactions in the accounts of seven Sun Hung Kai customers by proxy without their written authorization. She also provided false or misleading account information to 2 of these customers between July 2015 and September 2020, and false account statements to 3 of them in January and April 2021.
