02:27 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- GSK (GSK.L) on Monday reported positive data from the registrational phase 1/2 Arros-1 trial of Jideytro, or zidesamtinib, as a treatment for patients with advanced or metastatic ROS1-positive non-small cell lung cancer. The trial specifically assessed the medication in patients without any previous tyrosine kinase inhibitor treatment. The biopharmaceutical company said the drug demonstrated a clinically meaningful 94% objective response rate among participants, with progression-free survival at 90% at 12 months. The London-listed company presented the results at the 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer in Seoul. It earmarked the data for the supplemental new drug application that it intends to submit to the US Food and Drug Administration within 2026 for the inclusion of first-line treatment in the approved indication for Jideytro.
