ESpanix Selects Nokia Security Technology for Internet Traffic Protection

03:42 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nokia (NOKIA.HE) said Monday that Spanish internet exchange point ESpanix used its Nokia Deepfield Defender technology for its exchange platforms. The Finnish telecommunications equipment company's technology was deployed to protect its partner's Barcelona- and Madrid-based platforms from distributed denial-of-service attacks. As part of the deal, ESpanix can also offer the Nokia Deepfield Defender to its own clients as a value-added service.
