Huahai Pharmaceutical announced that the company's subsidiary Huahai Pharmaceutical Europe Limited recently received a marketing license for apixaban tablets approved and issued by the German Federal Administration for Drugs and Medical Devices. Apixaban tablets are mainly used in adults to prevent venous thromboembolism events after elective hip/knee replacement surgery, stroke and systemic embolism in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation. Up to now, the company has invested about 3.69 million yuan in European R&D projects for this product. The approval will enrich the company's overseas product pipeline and enhance its competitiveness in the international market.
