We wouldn't blame Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ:SPAI) shareholders if they were a little worried about the fact that Daniyel Erdberg, the Founder recently netted about US$4.0m selling shares at an average price of US$4.00. That's a big disposal, and it decreased their holding size by 21%, which is notable but not too bad.
Notably, that recent sale by Daniyel Erdberg is the biggest insider sale of Safe Pro Group shares that we've seen in the last year. That means that an insider was selling shares at slightly below the current price (US$4.49). When an insider sells below the current price, it suggests that they considered that lower price to be fair. That makes us wonder what they think of the (higher) recent valuation. Please do note, however, that sellers may have a variety of reasons for selling, so we don't know for sure what they think of the stock price. It is worth noting that this sale was only 21% of Daniyel Erdberg's holding.

Many investors like to check how much of a company is owned by insiders. We usually like to see fairly high levels of insider ownership. Safe Pro Group insiders own about US$25m worth of shares. That equates to 28% of the company. While this is a strong but not outstanding level of insider ownership, it's enough to indicate some alignment between management and smaller shareholders.
An insider sold Safe Pro Group shares recently, but they didn't buy any. And even if we look at the last year, we didn't see any purchases. Insiders own shares, but we're still pretty cautious, given the history of sales. We're in no rush to buy!
