An American mining company is cooperating with the Rwandan government to procure and process tungsten ore locally. Under the binding agreement, the Rwandan side will take a share in Almonty Industries Inc.'s local subsidiary by providing an exploration concession and a processing license to obtain 25% of the shares. The United States Government helped to facilitate this Rwandan cooperation and provided political support, but did not directly provide funding. The tungsten ore produced will be shipped to customers in the US, Europe, Japan, and South Korea.
