Zhitong Finance App News, Baixinan-B (02185) announced that the company recently signed a strategic cooperation agreement (strategic cooperation agreement) with Shanghai Shenqi Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (Shenqi Medical) to jointly promote the commercialization and clinical application of the Bioheart® bioabsorbable rapamycin-eluting coronary stent system (BioHeart stent, a product developed independently by the company).

According to the strategic cooperation agreement, the two sides will give full play to their respective resource advantages in market channel development and academic promotion to jointly promote commercialization and clinical application of BioHeart stents. The board of directors believes that the strategic cooperation agreement will further integrate innovative products and professional market service resources, jointly promote the clinical popularization and standardized application of BioHeart stents as an innovative “no interventional implantation” solution, and provide more treatment options for patients with coronary heart disease.

The BioHeart stent is a next-generation bioabsorbable rapamycin-eluting coronary stent system developed independently by our company. The BioHeart stent uses an ultra-thin pillar design with a minimum pillar thickness of 90 microns. While enhancing radial support, it also improves instrument transportability and lesion passability. The stent skeleton is made of L-polylactic acid (PLLA) material, which can be gradually degraded and absorbed in the body. After completing the phased support mission, it gradually disappears from the blood vessels, and truly realizes the “no intervention without implantation” treatment concept. At the same time, the BioHeart stent has a poly-D, L-lactic acid (PDLLA) sustained-release coating containing rapamycin, which effectively inhibits neointimal proliferation through continuous drug release and supports long-term lumen stability. Multi-level clinical studies have also provided clinical support for the safety and efficacy of BioHeart stents.

The board of directors believes that the strategic cooperation agreement between the company and Shenqi Medical represents an important step for the company to advance the commercialization process and accelerate product market adoption. The board of directors believes that the strategic cooperation agreement is in line with the company's business development strategy and conforms to the overall interests of the company and its shareholders.
