According to CNNC, on September 14, local time, on the opening day of the 70th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, the China Exhibition on the theme of “Small Reactors and Comprehensive Utilization of Nuclear Energy” was held simultaneously. International Atomic Energy Agency Director Grossi, China's National Atomic Energy Agency Director Shan Zhongde, China's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Vienna and other international organizations, Ambassador Li Song, China's Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency, and Zhang Tao, General Manager of CNNC Group, visited the exhibition and witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between CNNC Energy and the IAEA in the field of high-temperature air-cooled reactors. According to the cooperation agreement signed between CNNC Energy and the IAEA in the field of high-temperature reactors, the two sides agreed to carry out exchanges and cooperation in the fields of R&D, design, construction, commissioning, operation, supply chain, and talent training of high-temperature air-cooled reactors. This means that the world can share China's practical experience in high-temperature air-cooled reactor engineering, which will further help promote high-temperature air-cooled reactors globally in low-carbon scenarios such as nuclear power generation, industrial heating, and hydrogen production.
