The Russian Ministry of Defense said that Russian forces damaged a dry cargo ship and a RoRo ferry in the Ukrainian port of Chornomorsk during the night. Russia also said in a statement on social media platforms that it continues to crack down on railway infrastructure used to transport military supplies from European countries in western Ukraine. Since mid-August, Russia has stepped up its crackdown on Ukrainian Black Sea and Danube ports and ships, attacking Odessa, Chornomorsk, Pivdene, and Izmail several times.
