The French National Institute of Statistics and Economics said on Tuesday that consumer prices in France rose 2.6% year on year in August according to the EU's unified caliber, lower than the initial value of 2.7% earlier this month. The Eurozone's second-largest economy's unified inflation rate — adjusted to compare with other Eurozone countries — was faster than 2.4% in July, the highest level since May.
