According to CNNC, on September 14, CNNC Party Secretary and Chairman Shen Yanfeng met with Wu Xiaojun, Qinghai Provincial Committee Secretary and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, in Xining. The two sides exchanged views on new energy industry development and key project promotion, nuclear technology application, uranium ore resource exploration, protection of the former site of the 221 base, and the promotion of red culture, and reached a consensus on further deepening cooperation between the central government and the region.
