Taiwan Affairs Office Spokesman Zhu Fenglian: In order to actively implement the ten policies and measures authorized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the Central People's Republic of China to promote cross-strait exchanges and cooperation, the Taiwan Affairs Office of Beijing directed the new government media “Jingcai Taiwan” to produce the costume short drama “Jiaqing Jun Tour Taiwan”, which premiered in Beijing on September 11. The drama is based on Taiwanese folklore and elements of Hotei, and incorporates regional culture and characteristic drama. A number of Taiwanese actors participated in the performance of this costume short drama and dubbing work in Minnan. All 70 episodes of the series have already been released on the “Beijing Lottery Taiwan” video account, and will be released on mainstream platforms at home and abroad in the near future. We welcome and support more Taiwanese businesses to participate in the creation of short dramas in mainland China. Taiwanese businesses can invest in setting up radio and television program production and management companies in Fujian, co-create short dramas with mainland companies, and can also directly participate in the performance of various short dramas. It is hoped that people on both sides of the Strait will be able to see more masterpieces of short dramas involving Taiwanese businesses.
