The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Lee Ka-chiu, announced the “First Five-Year Plan for the Economic and Social Development of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region” and immediately published the “Chief Executive's 2026 Policy Address”. Li Jiachao announced in the “Policy Address” that Hong Kong supports the development of the film industry, will research and provide setting venues for the industry, encourage films to be filmed locally, and better promote Hong Kong to the world through high-quality film productions.
