Samsung Display will soon finalize a 300 billion won investment plan for mass production of RGB OleDOS at this month's Investment Review Committee meeting. RGB OLEDOS is a subdivision of micro OLED micro display technology, which uses silicon substrates and RGB OLED sub-pixel direct deposition technology routes. The RGB OleDOS mass production line planned by Samsung Display is expected to have a monthly production capacity of around 3,000 wafers, and will use deposition equipment provided by the Korean company Sunic System. Samsung Display expects to place equipment orders in Q4 2026, introduce equipment in 2027, and achieve mass production in 2028.
