Pleasing Signs As A Number Of Insiders Buy Acrivon Therapeutics Stock

Simply Wall St·09/16/2026 11:25:14
Listen to the news

When a single insider purchases stock, it is typically not a major deal. However, when multiple insiders purchase stock, like in Acrivon Therapeutics, Inc.'s (NASDAQ:ACRV) instance, it's good news for shareholders.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Acrivon Therapeutics

The Co-Founder Peter Blume-Jensen made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for US$82k worth of shares at a price of US$1.68 each. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of US$1.83. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. If someone buys shares at well below current prices, it's a good sign on balance, but keep in mind they may no longer see value. The good news for Acrivon Therapeutics share holders is that insiders were buying at near the current price. We note that Peter Blume-Jensen was both the biggest buyer and the biggest seller.

Over the last year, we can see that insiders have bought 67.83k shares worth US$114k. But they sold 18.75k shares for US$40k. In the last twelve months there was more buying than selling by Acrivon Therapeutics insiders. You can see a visual depiction of insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last 12 months, below. I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. We do generally prefer see higher levels of insider ownership.

What Might The Insider Transactions At Acrivon Therapeutics Tell Us?

We did not see any insider buying in the last three months, but we did see selling. But given the selling was modest, we're not worried. But insiders have shown more of an appetite for the stock, over the last year.
