Typhoon No. 25 of this year, “Azalea,” formed on the ocean surface of the northwest Pacific Ocean last night. At 5 o'clock this morning, its center is located on the ocean surface about 530 kilometers northeast of Saipan, that is, 18.1 degrees north latitude and 149.7 degrees east longitude. The maximum wind power near the center is level 8. The lowest air pressure at the center is 995 hundred Pa, and the radius of the level 7 wind circle is 150 to 480 kilometers. It is expected that the “rhododendron” will move at a speed of about 40 kilometers per hour from north to west to north, gradually increasing in intensity. Starting on the 19th, it will move north to northeast, gradually moving towards the ocean south of Japan. In the future, “rhododendrons” will have no impact on our offshore waters.
