US power equipment manufacturer Generac submitted documents to the US Securities Regulatory Commission on September 16, local time, announcing the signing of an agreement with Amazon to issue a share warrant to Amazon.com NV Investment Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the latter, granting it the right to subscribe for up to 1,693,745 shares of the company's common shares at an exercise price of 200.93 US dollars per share. Generac signed a long-term supply agreement with Amazon, and the total initial delivery of backup generators is expected to reach $2.4 billion in 2027 and 2028.
