On the morning of September 17, Evergrande Motor revealed in its 2026 interim results announcement that the Group has taken a number of plans and measures to ease liquidity pressure and improve its financial situation, including but not limited to the following: the Group has completed its withdrawal from automobile manufacturing and implemented a strategic transformation to an asset-light business model based on its retained know-how related to electric vehicle batteries and automobile manufacturing. The Group continues to adopt active plans and measures to control operating and administrative costs through various channels, including but not limited to optimizing and adjusting organizational and human resources, and controlling operating expenses. At the same time, the Group has been using its retained technical advantages to develop new business activities and rebuild its revenue base, mainly including the lithium-ion battery trading business, which began sales and generated revenue of RMB 8.73 million during the reporting period; and the company is still in negotiations with an independent investor. The investor indicated that it is willing to provide financing to the Group to maintain its basic operating and minimum working capital requirements, including payment of professional and intermediary fees and expenses to maintain the company's listed position.
