Recently, the Supreme People's Procuratorate issued “Opinions on the Development of Prosecutorial Security Work During the Fifteenth Five-Year Plan Period”, which lays out arrangements for the next five years. The “Opinion” makes systematic arrangements to focus on carrying out the duties of the national legal supervisory authority and increasing efforts to guarantee prosecution services. Focusing on promoting the quality and efficiency of procuratorial work and deepening the construction of a prosecution security system, it puts forward requirements in five areas: improving financial guarantee mechanisms, equipment construction mechanisms, infrastructure construction mechanisms, strong scientific and technological inspection mechanisms, and supporting grass-roots mechanisms, and continuously improving the prosecution guarantee system compatible with the new situation and tasks of procuratorial work. The “Opinion” also clearly calls for “strengthening the professionalization of prosecution security work and enhancing prosecution and security work capacity”, promoting the integration of industry and finance, strengthening active service, exercising diligence and economy, promoting digital empowerment, strengthening team building, deepening theoretical research, fully carrying out all duties of prosecution security work, and providing better services to ensure the high-quality development of procuratorial work.
