Arctic Falls to Build Winter Testing Facility in Sweden Under Long-term Deal with Volvo Cars

01:06 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Arctic Falls (ARFA.ST) said Wednesday that it will develop a winter testing facility in Sweden under a 20-year agreement with carmaker Volvo Car (VOLCAR-B.ST), d/b/a Volvo Cars. The automotive testing services provider will own and operate the facility, with investment expected between 110 million kronor and 130 million kronor. It expects to generate annual revenue of 17 million euros from the deal, alongside potential additional revenue from the provision of supplementary services. Project implementation is subject to the approval of relevant regulators and the completion of necessary land purchases. The facility is expected to start operations at the end of 2028. Volvo Cars may extend the deal for another 10 years.
