01:14 AM EDT, 09/17/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (SASE:2222), d/b/a Saudi Aramco, is reportedly planning to resume partial capacity of its East-West pipeline soon by bypassing a damaged section, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing a person familiar with the matter. The 1,200-kilometer pipeline was shut down on Sept. 10 after drone attacks, the report added. The Saudi Arabian state-owned oil giant is targeting full resumption of the pipeline within six weeks. Saudi Aramco and Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Energy did not immediately respond to requests for comments from MT Newswires.
