On September 17, China's FAW and Zero Sports Auto held a signing ceremony in Huzhou, Zhejiang. China's FAW's First FAW New Power Technology Co., Ltd. and SAIC Xinneng Battery Technology Co., Ltd. signed separate investment letters of intent and technical cooperation agreements with Zero Sports Auto. According to the letter of intent signed between Qixin Power and Zero Sports Auto, Zero Sports Auto plans to participate in the Series A financing of Qixin Power as a strategic investor. The two sides will further explore and promote strategic collaboration and resource sharing in powertrain products and technologies such as hybrid engines, electric drive systems, and range extenders. According to the technical cooperation agreement signed between China Automobile Xinneng and Zero Sports Auto, the two sides will jointly promote forward-looking battery technology research and implementation of standardized batteries, and carry out research and development collaboration in cutting-edge directions such as solid-state batteries, lithium-manganese-based batteries, sodium-ion batteries, and lithium iron ultra-fast charging.
