It surpassed the railway port for the first time in the same period in history, setting the best record since the opening of the highway port; in the same period, the Manzhouli Railway Port completed import and export trade value of 105.19 billion yuan, an increase of 33.7% over the previous year. Zhang Shipu, director of the Manzhouli Port Administration Office, explained that since this year, Manzhouli Port's exports of high-value-added products represented by mechanical and electrical products have maintained strong growth, with exports in categories such as automobiles, electrical equipment, computers and their components rising sharply; exports of electric manned vehicles, lithium batteries, and solar cells have increased strongly, the export scale of used cars has continued to expand, and the export product structure has accelerated to the middle and upper end of the value chain. Zhang Shipu said that the trade value of highway ports surpassed railway ports for the first time, marking a more consolidated “parallel railway” pattern and a more balanced trade structure at Manzhouli Port. The Manzhouli Port Administration Office, together with Manzhouli Customs and other departments, is deepening joint services across customs areas, greatly streamlining customs clearance processes and significantly reducing monthly logistics and time costs for single trolleys.
