Today, the 2026 China-ASEAN Artificial Intelligence Ministerial Roundtable was held in Nanning, Guangxi. Representatives of artificial intelligence-related departments from China and 11 ASEAN countries, relevant ASEAN envoys to China, and representatives of key ASEAN artificial intelligence enterprises, scientific research institutions, and financial institutions attended. During the roundtable exchange session, participants held in-depth dialogues and discussions on the development, governance, application, and industry cooperation of artificial intelligence on the themes of artificial intelligence safety ethics, data and security cooperation. A number of important cooperation results were announced at the conference, along with artificial intelligence ethical safety cooperation initiatives for ASEAN, multiple AI safety technology products and industry solutions, case collections, and cooperation results in the fields of talent, industry, education, traditional Chinese medicine, etc.
