LATEST NEWS: A US State Department spokesperson said on September 17, local time, that “despite the state of war between the two sides, the US still approves visas for senior Iranian leaders,” and the Iranian delegation will be allowed to attend the 81st UN General Assembly High Level Week event to be held in New York next week. The spokesperson said, “The delegation will be subject to travel restrictions and will face regulations prohibiting the purchase of luxury goods and other items in accordance with our policies. The delegation was also smaller than last year.” There is currently no response from Iran to this.
