The Zhitong Finance App learned that, according to reports, Manus is seeking to complete a round of financing of 500 million US dollars to push the company's valuation to 4 billion US dollars, double the 2 billion US dollar valuation at the time of the previous Meta acquisition. If the deal finally comes to fruition, Manus will become the highest-valued AI intelligence startup in China. People familiar with the matter said that negotiations are still ongoing, the terms of the deal may still change, and the identity of the new investors has not been disclosed. The market generally anticipates that Manus, like the Dark Side of the Moon and other big model makers, may seek listing in Hong Kong.

Manus's current investors include Tencent, Sequoia China, and Zhenge Fund. According to previous reports, before the latest round of financing, Manus's founders and current investors bought back shares from Meta at a valuation of 2 billion US dollars, and Tencent became Manus's largest external investor after buying shares initially held by US venture capital firm Benchmark.
