Aberdeen UK Smaller to Merge with JPMorgan UK Small Cap

04:10 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Aberdeen UK Smaller Companies Growth Trust (AUSC.L) agreed to merge with JPMorgan UK Small Cap Growth & Income (JUGI.L), according to a Friday filing. Under the proposed merger, which will be implemented through a members' voluntary winding up of Aberdeen UK Smaller by way of a scheme of reconstruction, Aberdeen UK Smaller shareholders will receive new JPMorgan UK Small shares or cash. The deal remains subject to approvals by shareholders of both trusts and regulatory clearances, among other conditions.
