According to Zhitong Finance App, Fuling Co., Ltd. (001356.SZ) issued an announcement. On the evening of September 17, 2026, a fire accident occurred in the pulp molding workshop of PT FOOD PACKAGING JAYA (hereinafter referred to as “Winning Packaging”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. After the accident occurred, the company immediately initiated an emergency plan, set up an on-site emergency team, and fully cooperated with the local fire department to carry out fire extinguishing and rescue. The fire was already extinguished. After preliminary investigation, it was initially determined that the cause of the accident was caused by improper operation by a third party operator during the electric welding operation. The specific reason has yet to be further verified.
The accident did not cause any injuries, nor did it affect other production workshops (plastic tableware workshops) of Victory Packaging. As a result of the accident, some of the plant, equipment and a small amount of inventory at the site were damaged to varying degrees. The exact amount of loss is currently being verified and assessed. The initial estimate of the loss amount is around RMB 3.5 million. In the end, the results of the verification assessment shall prevail. The fire accident is expected to have a certain impact on the company's business performance in 2026, and the company will take all necessary measures to minimize losses.
At the same time, due to this accident, the production progress of molded pulp products will be affected to a certain extent. It is initially estimated that the pulp molding workshop will stop production for about 2 months. The company has set up a working group to properly handle production and operation scheduling and other matters, resume production of pulp molded products as soon as possible, and do its best to reduce or eliminate the impact on customer order delivery. Currently, the sales volume and sales revenue of the company's molded pulp products are low. From January to June 2026, the sales revenue of this product accounted for less than 1% of the company's revenue.
