05:43 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Metzler Capital Markets raised its price target and estimates for DHL (DHL.F) amid positive growth in its Express business, following a capital markets briefing hosted by the German logistics group that focused on the division. "We found the presentation very convincing. With regard to current trading, we have gained the impression that volume growth in Q3 has so far been at a similar level to that of the second quarter (9.4 per cent). In our view, this gives rise to the assumption that profit momentum in Q3 in the Express segment is likely to be similar to that in the second quarter. Presumably with slightly lower impact from the Iran crisis," analysts said in a Friday note. "Based on this assumption, and extrapolating this trend to Q4, one could infer an Express result of over EUR 4 billion (e) for FY 2026. And a Group result of over EUR 7 billion (own calculations/estimates). The FY 2026 consensus currently stands at around EUR 6.86 billion." The research firm highlighted DHL's "very optimistic" message regarding the division's growth, with the group gaining benefits from its key strategies related to global industrial goods transport and geographical focus on regions and countries with high growth potential. As such, Metzler revised the buy-rated stock's price target to 68 euros from 65 euros. The projected EPS for 2026 was lifted by 4.7%, alongside higher estimates for sales and EBIT. For 2027 and 2028, the forecasts for all three metrics were also increased.
