On September 18, the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo signing event was held in Nanning, Guangxi. The event relied on the construction of the 3.0 version of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone and major opportunities for navigation of the Pinglu Canal, and focused on building an investment cooperation platform in the fields of offshore economy, ASEAN cooperation, and artificial intelligence. For the first time, the event built an institutional supply-demand docking platform and released a list of 254 offshore economic scenarios, including 112 scenario opportunities and 142 scenario capability lists. A number of projects were signed on site, and the manufacturing industry accounted for more than 90% of industrial investment projects. Eight cities along the Pinglu Canal Economic Belt have signed 41 projects; 19 international cooperation projects, covering 7 ASEAN countries; and 21 artificial intelligence projects, covering the direction of computing power, semiconductors, robotics, and digital services going overseas.
