Springfield Properties Signs First Main Works Deal Under Build-to-Lease Housing Partnership

10:06 AM EDT, 09/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Springfield Properties (SPR.L) struck its first main works agreement to build 39 homes under its build-to-lease housing partnership with an energy infrastructure company in the North of Scotland. The deal covers the construction of 293 homes at six sites across the Highlands, Moray and Aberdeenshire, according to a Friday release. The initial deal was announced in December 2025. The housebuilder will receive a significant payment upon handover of the homes, followed by monthly rental revenue during the duration of the lease.
