He mentioned Westlake University's new science and technology evaluation standards: abandoning the “four only”, abandoning quantitative indicators for scientific research, and not setting up any form of scientific research reward. Teachers at Westlake University are not allowed to work part-time; there are no internal science and technology rewards; they do not evaluate scientific research articles by assistant professors, associate professors, and professors' every year; instead, they adopt the style of fighting for scientific issues.
