While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.
In fact, the recent purchase by Matthew Skurbe was the biggest purchase of Aventus Capital shares made by an insider individual in the last twelve months, according to our records. So it's clear an insider wanted to buy, at around the current price, which is CA$22.70. Of course they may have changed their mind. But this suggests they are optimistic. While we always like to see insider buying, it's less meaningful if the purchases were made at much lower prices, as the opportunity they saw may have passed. The good news for Aventus Capital share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. Matthew Skurbe was the only individual insider to buy shares in the last twelve months.

It certainly does suggest a reasonable degree of alignment.
It's certainly positive to see the recent insider purchase. We also take confidence from the longer term picture of insider transactions.
