Zhi Spectrum (02513) Open Source zCode Officially Responds to Code Data Disputes

The Zhitong Finance App learned that according to Zhi Spectrum (02513), the company officially opened the open source AI programming tool zCode today. Earlier, some developers reported that when using zCode, some code workspaces and Git history data were uploaded to the cloud. Smart Spectrum responded that the related issue stems from the “codebase index” function that is enabled by default. The data is mainly used to generate Repo Wiki, and the relevant mechanism has now been fixed. The company also invited the Chinese Academy of Information and Communications Technology to conduct a security audit.

Smart Spectrum continuously responded to the data upload dispute surrounding zCode. The Zhi Spectrum MaaS platform announced on the evening of September 20 that it will launch the “Do not save data content” function in the near future. After the function takes effect, the platform no longer statically stores user input and output; the relevant data is only used to complete the current model call. Functions that require persistent tasks or files, such as the Batch API and File API, are not covered, and scenarios where laws and regulations require retention and violation checks, data may still be stored for 30 days or more.
