Fortum's Shareholding in Elmera Group Surpasses 88%

02:38 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fortum (FORTUM.HE) said Monday that its ownership of Elmera Group (ELMRA.OL) amounted to 88.59% at the expiration of the initial acceptance period for its takeover proposal of 47 Norwegian kroner per share. The initial acceptance period closed on Sept. 18, with the Finnish energy company holding 101,302,124 shares in the Norwegian electricity supplier through Fortum Consumer Solutions. Shareholders of the target have until Oct. 2 to accept the offer, following an earlier extension.
